Student Organizations
Playmakers
The main goal of Playmakers is to raise scholarship funds for incoming Theatre and Dance students at Â鶹¹ÙÍø. The student group was founded on a “Pay it Forward” ideal in order for students to support one another in education and preparation for the professional world. It is a great organization for students to join and meet the heart of student body of the department.
Playmakers help produce student-based productions in the department, such as "Reasons to be Pretty" (Summer 2016), "Bent" (Summer 2017), and "Sons of the Prophet" (Summer 2018) and coordinate social events for students to enjoy and share their experiences in the field.
Currently, Playmakers is preparing workshops to tour the schools in El Paso, to share their love and knowledge for theatre.
Please contact Playmakers through Facebook at Â鶹¹ÙÍø Playmakers for any information or inquiries. "
